I got a phone call today. The Bund für Menschenrecht hired me to work undercover in search of families with lesbian mothers. There’s a lot of us, they said, but not always immediately recognizable. Evidence could be found in magazines like Frauenliebe, they suggested. So I got hold of the most recent issues and soon found what I was looking for. In response to a reporter named Claire writing on married women who maintain lesbian relationships, two women sent in letters.
Then fate brought her a “girlfriend.” She knew nothing about the love between women and she wasn’t looking for it, but she found it.
If your girlfriend works and has the aspiration to make progress in her professional life and you also join in, should it not be possible to support your dear mother and the child?

There are also some among us likeminded who would like not only to be a girlfriend, but also a mother, where the sense of motherhood has not been undermined by her orientation.
